Below is a pot altered in such a way as to create multiple, distinctly different front options. This pot has interesting asymmetrical options plus two very different symmetrical sides. This makes the pot like the tree, changing dramatically from every viewing position

Here are some examples of my latest experiments I moved away with throwing and hand-building altogether in order to begin making fully sculptural pots completely carved or pinched from a block of clay. It is so satisfying and immediate. The possibility for the exploration of new form is endless.
